“You don’t see many of those nowadays”, not unless you are in SYCC.

The club was started a couple of years ago by Andy Adams, Ray Polaine and Chris Simms and held it’s first meeting with three Capri ’s and a Vauxhall Cavalier. Since then it has grown from strength to strength and now can quite rightly boast as one of, (if not, the) largest Capri club in the North of England. But don’t forget that ALL CLASSICS ARE WELCOME.

This is not your run of the mill 'car club'. Though we are primarily a Ford Capri Club we accept all classic vehicles (and their owners). We currently have two American cars, a Sierra Cosworth, XR4i, 2 X MK2 Cortina, a Mk 5 Cortina as well as the 26 Capris.

The group is very family orientated, children of any age are welcome, (if they bring their parents). We are a group of friends who happen to like classic cars.  The club meets every fourth Sunday of the month, but during the show season we can be out every weekend.

It does not matter what condition your car is in, we are not a 'posh-only' club. We have many 'spanner men' who will help with advice, and good 'body' men to sort the dents. Spares are easily obtained, either second hand from a member or new from the 'International Club'.

Come along to a meet, see who we are, bring the kids, drink some coffee, see some nice cars in the company of ‘like minded people’
